Senior Supply Chain Planner

Do you have experience in Supply Chain Planning and have what it takes to manage a Third Party Manufacturer in EMEA? Then our Senior Supply Chain Planner role in Coatings might be the right job for you!

Our interesting opportunity is based in Terneuzen (the Netherlands) where the Planner will be responsible for supply from Third Party Manufacturers based in Germany.

The Planner will hold regular S & OP meetings to balance supply and demand over the tactical horizon to achieve optimum product availability, supply chain efficiencies and contract optimization.

Supply / Demand - Manufacturer and Demand Team Owns Supply/Demand balancing for a product range, production capacity &/or warehouse replenishment planning for the plant region

S & OP - Manufacturer, CSR, LSE and Demand Team Prepares and leads S & OP process with Third Party Manufacturers by running and reviewing appropriate reports/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and dashboards, to ensure a productive discussion

Performance Cross functional Monitors actual performance versus plan & engages efforts for resolution

SC Capabilities – current & future Coatings Business Ensures that strategic and tactical business decisions are made with a full and integrated understanding of supply chain capabilities, potential impacts to service, cost, working capital, sustainability plus effective risk management / mitigation

Inventory Aggregate Planner Manages inventory levels to target expectations and customer service availability agreements

Safety stock ------- Manages supply plans against agreed safety stock settings

Demand Demand / Finance Maintains strong linkages with Demand Team and ensures full integration with Finance and Accounting

Customers Customer Service Cooperates closely with Customer Service/Sales to optimize service levels

Logistics Dow Logistics + Manufacturer Tunes capacity requirements with Logistics, Site-Logistics, Outplant management

Master Data ------- Maintains and/or coordinates maintenance of planning parameters in accordance with master data governance

Life cycle Product Management & Quality Develops plans to support new product introductions, as well as product discontinuations, mitigating product obsolescence

Improvement Cross functional Identifies and drives supply chain improvements to improve service levels, reduce costs or improve supply chain quality
