We are currently experiencing a unique situation. There is a shortage on the housing market and on the labour market in our region. In addition, we see that a large group of workers in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen will be retiring in the next few years. The energy transition requires professionals. This means that we need young people and new people from Zeeuws-Vlaanderen to come and work here. We will then also have to provide suitable housing. 

Estate agents and project developers are working with the municipalities in the Housing working group of OnbegrensdZeeuwsVlaanderen. They critically monitor the housing policies of municipalities, the state and the province, write responses and carry out their own research when necessary. As a working group, we draw attention to the position of our young people on the housing market and fight for a flexible housing policy that provides housing for people who want to settle in our region.
